Mariann McElwain, MD, PhD

Dr. Mariann McElwain, M.D., PhD, is a board-certified ENT specializing in allergies, sinus conditions, and comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin & Marshall College, completed her Ph.D. at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. She then completed her residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. McElwain is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) and an active member of both the AAOA and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.

Robert Michael Baskin, MD

Dr. Baskin received his undergraduate education from Wake Forest University. After earning his medical degree at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine he proceeded to surgical internship at Mercer University. From there he traveled to the University of Florida where he completed residency training in otolaryngology.

Paul H. Garlich, MD

Dr. Garlich is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. He received his double-major undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia graduating cum laude, with honors, and completed his medical training at the Medical College of Georgia. During his residency in head and neck surgery at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. he was awarded Outstanding Resident while serving as Administrative Chief Resident. Following his residency he completed a highly competitive fellowship with the Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery.

Scot M. Stewart, MD

Scot M. Stewart, MD

Dr. Stewart is a native Georgian who joined Northeast Georgia ENT in 2002. He is incredibly grateful to the people of Northeast Georgia for the support they have given him for over two decades. He is particularly interested in the surgical management of pediatric and adult ENT problems, including chronic ear infections, nasal obstruction, chronic sinus infections, sleep apnea, salivary neoplasms, and neck masses. He believes most issues can be resolved by following the KISS rule and adheres to that paradigm in his daily practice. He is married to Cathryn Finch, MD, and is the father of three beautiful children. His outside interests include snow skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing, and whatever activity or sport his children are involved in at the moment.

Michael H. Callahan, MD

Dr. Callahan is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist who has been providing Ear, Nose and Throat care to the Northeast Georgia Community since 2001. He graduated from Gainesville High School and then received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. His M.D. was obtained and his Otolaryngology residency was completed at the Medical College of Georgia. His interests are in general pediatric otolaryngology and adult nasal and sinus disorders (6 months of age or older). He is a member of the Hall County Medical Society and plays an active role in shaping the future of medicine at the local and state level always trying to preserve the patient-physician relationship.

Brennan P. Wood, MD

Brennan P. Wood, MD

Dr. Wood received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his surgical internship and his residency in Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Wood is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Wood has been in private practice since 2005. His top priority is to place God first in his life followed by family and career. Dr. Wood’s special areas of interest include: nasal and sinus disorders, pediatric otolaryngology (6 months of age or older) as well as general otolaryngology for patients of all ages.
