Brandon Shepherd, MD

Dr. Shepherd grew up in the Memphis area and attended the University of Memphis where he received a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. He then worked locally in the medical device industry before pursuing his M.D. at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. During his medical training, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and graduated with high honors. He went on to complete his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He and his family then returned home to Memphis to join Mid-South Ear, Nose, and Throat and fulfill Dr. Shepherd's dream of being a "hometown doc." He is the co-author of a book chapter on the association of allergy and sleep and has authored several scientific papers.
