How does VivAer work?

Michael Friedman, MD, is an Otolaryngologist–Head and Neck Surgeon and serves as Medical Director for Chicago ENT. Since 1977, Dr. Friedman has practiced as an ear, nose, and throat doctor in the Chicago area, and has earned recognition from peers and patients alike. He started his career at the University of Illinois – Chicago Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery where he served as Associate Professor. Dr. Friedman is also a nationally known expert on head and neck cancer, endoscopic sinus surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and sleep disorders.

T.K. Venkatesan, M.D.

T.K. Venkatesan, MD, is a board-certified Otolaryngologist–Head and Neck Surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He completed his internship at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, and his residency in Otolaryngology at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago. He currently serves as section chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Amita Health St. Mary’s Hospital. He has worked alongside Dr. Friedman for more than 27 years and has mastered numerous minimally invasive techniques. In addition, Dr. Venkatesan is currently an assistant professor at Rush University and has authored several publications and textbook chapters.

r. Adam J. Levy graduated magna cum laude from Boston University and attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. He completed his general surgery internship and otolaryngology residency at the Yale University School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident from 2008-2009 before joining the Advanced Center for Specialty Care. He has published several pieces of original research and has contributed chapters to leading textbooks in the field. Dr. Levy specializes in adult and pediatric otolaryngology including all diseases of the ear, nose, and throat. He has a special interest in head and neck surgery, otologic disease, and the treatment of dizziness.

Dr. Friedman studied medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Rush University Medical Center. With dedicated training in every ENT subspecialty, Dr. Friedman offers comprehensive management of diverse problems involving the ears, nose, and throat. His special interests include sinus disease, nasal breathing, sleep disorders, voice problems, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and cancer of the head and neck.
